An intimate guest house on top of the rugged Cliffs of De Kelders, Whalesong Lodge offers you whale watching from the comfort of your bed! Stanley & Lainy Carpenter welcome you to their bed and breakfast guesthouse overlooking the picturesque Walker Bay with views of the coastline stretching from the white sand dunes of “Die Plaat” past Hermanus all the way to Cape Point.
The accommodation comprises 4 Standard rooms and a suite. The spacious rooms are thoughtfully yet stylishly decorated with a writing desk and an easy chair. All standard room have some sea view and a small private standing balcony to take in the fresh sea air.
Breakfast is served from 8 till 10 overlooking Walker Bay. The continental buffet includes fresh fruit in season, plain & fruit yoghurt, prunes done in rooibos tea & cinnamon, cereals, homemade muesli or granola, cheese from the Stanford area, cold meats and pâtés.

From Cape Town
Follow N2 to Botriver turning onto the R43 through Hermanus to Stanford and on towards Gansbaai. Take the 1st turnoff into De Kelders down to the sea turn right into Cliff Street. It’s the third house on your right. Number: 83

Follow N2 till 10Km past Riviersonderend turn left onto R 326 to Stanford (See Above)
Detour through Elim(410km) follow N2 till 13km past Swellendam turn left onto R319 through Bredasdorp towards Cape Agulhas (Southern Tip of Africa).4km past Bredasdorp turn right towards Elim and Gansbaai.( partly gravel road) Drive through Gansbaai and take the 3rd turnoff into De Kelders down to the sea, turn right into Cliff Street.
