Tharina’s Guest House offers both a bed and breakfast and self catering option. It is delightfully situated on the coast, halfway between Mosselbay and George in the heart of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. It overlooks 8 km of unspoilt sandy beaches that are less than a 10 minute walk away.
Tharina’s Guest House is a child friendly establishment that has created the perfect getaway for discerning corporate, tourist or family travellers with a personal and friendly touch to make an unforgettable stay for our guests. It is also the ideal location for golfing and painting holidays.
The house is conveniently only a 10 minute drive from George Airport and also the ideal halfway stopover between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
Tharina’s Guest House consists of 4 immaculate bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and en-suite facilities. Double beds are available on request. Each room has its own private entrance and outside seating relaxation area.
The rooms offer coffee making facilities, under floor heating and ceiling fans, shower/hairdryer sockets. Luxury percale bedlinen and plenty of wardrobe space will ensure your maximum comfort and pleasure. The rooms are all serviced daily.
For further enjoyment there is a large private deck with spectacular views of the ocean, the beach and the Great Brak River. An ideal spot for having a ‘sundowner’ whilst watching a beautiful sunset, or sunbathing during the warm summer days.

Directions
Head east on the N2 towards Swellendam - continue on the N2 for 193 km. Turn left to stay on the N2. Take exit 409 towards the R102 and turn right at Long Street. Turn left at the R102. Turn right into Morrison Road and continue for 1.3 km. Take the first turn right onto Hersham Drive. Take the first right onto Franklin Street. We are number 36.
