Tamodi Lodge and Stables was created by Lynne and Owen Johnston, their inspiration born out of a love for horses and the beautiful valleys of the Crags. We offer excellent bed and breakfast accommodation near Plettenberg Bay, on the famous Garden Route in the Western Cape of South Africa.

This passion is reflected in the carefully designed main house and stable buildings. You will relax in the peaceful setting while looking out over indigenous forests, valleys and the Outeniqua Mountains. The property forms part of a natural conservancy area and is also a working equestrian farm with a riding school. Tamodi Lodge is close to many activities in the Plettenberg Bay area so there is never a dull moment.

We currently have two beautiful Standard Rooms available, each with a queen-sized bed, large bath and powerful shower. We also have a luxurious Honeymoon Suite with king-sized bed, large bath overlooking the valley and an indoor/outdoor shower.

We provide a full breakfast, but suggest lunch and dinner at one of the fine Plettenberg Bay restaurants.

Directions

DRIVING FROM CAPE TOWN
Approximately 10 km past Plettenberg Bay towards Port Elizabeth, go past the first two turnoffs to Keurbooms strand and at the top of the hill you will find a Vodacom cell phone tower. Turn right at the foot of the tower and proceed for 1.5 km.
DRIVING FROM PORT ELIZABETH
This trip will take you 2.5 hours and is 220 km. Take the N2 towards Cape Town and passJeffery’s Bay, Humansdorp, Stormsriver and the Tsitsikamma toll gate. Approximately 21 km from there past the CRAGS petrol station you will find a Vodacom cell phone tower on your left. Turn left at the foot of the tower: proceed 1.5 km and you will see our signs.
