The Grootvlei Guest Farm is situated 6 km from the charming fishing village of Lambert’s Bay on the West Coast.
The Grootvlei Guest Farm offers two venues:
(1) The Guest House B&B Option is 4 Star rated and offers seven beautifully appointed and stylishly decorated bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (shower facilities). Each room is equipped with MNet, satellite TV and coffee/tea making facilities. Breakfast is served inside or on the terrace. The guest house offers various private verandas where one can sit and read a book away from all the other guests. The guest house has a communal dining room, tastefully furnished lounge area flowing onto a large courtyard, a fully stocked bar as well as a covered braai or conference room.
Accommodation for 14 guests. No children under 12 and no pets.
(2) The Grootvlei on the Dunes B&B Option is 3 Star rated - This cluster of seashell-encrusted rooms, also referred to as “skulpieshuisies” (shell houses) – one honeymoon suite and three double rooms – is situated right on the dunes overlooking the ocean. All the shell-shaped rooms are beautifully decorated and have an elegant, yet rustic feel. The charming honeymoon suite comes with an open-roofed, oyster-shaped bath where you can relax while watching the stars and listening to the ocean. The rooms have traditional “latjieshuis” (reed house) finishes throughout. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and there is a communal, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge/dining area with an undercover veranda, offering exquisite and uninterrupted vistas of the ocean.
