Franschhoek Manor is a boutique luxury guesthouse offering both B&B and self catering options. Located amidst stunning gardens with two pools, two gazebos, numerous intimate sitting areas and river frontage, this 5-star establishment is the perfect place to unwind.

Our eclectically furnished rooms all offer air-conditioning, telephone, stereo systems and TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, bathing robes, bathroom slippers, pool towels and mini fridges. All rooms are serviced daily with turndown service at night. All rooms have direct access to our garden with a braai area next to the pool.

The Master Bedroom has a stunning garden view on two sides, a big, airy bathroom with two basins, toilet, large shower and bathtub, an open fire place and a kitchenette.

The Black Room
This has garden views on three sides, plus double doors into the garden. It is beautifully furnished and decorated in black and white with zebra skins and antique chests.

The Blue Room
Our spacious 5 star Blue Room is furnished with inter alia a king-sized four-poster bed, two cosy armchairs and a small desk for writing. It has double doors leading into the Cottage garden and a view of the Cottage garden and the Cottage pool.

The Shellseeker’s Room
Our cosy Shellseekers’ room is furnished with a four poster bed, a writing desk and two chairs and has two windows facing the front lawn and driveway and double doors leading to the patio and Garden Cottage.

Our Garden Cottage Suite encompasses the cosy 5 star Shellseeker’s Room and the 4-star Garden Cottage, but both rooms can also be booked separately. The kitchen’s bar counter seats four.

Directions

Coming on the N1 from Cape Town, follow the signs to Franschhoek via Klapmuts. In Franschhoek, stay on the Main Road till you see the Post Office on your left. Turn right and follow the signs to Mont Rochelle Hotel and La Brasserie. You’re going downhill past La Brasserie, along a tree-lined road, over a bridge. Continue to drive along the road which bends right. We’re the third property on the right hand side. You can’t miss the big white wall with Franschhoek Manor written on it.  Ring the bell at main entrance (not the stable entrance).
