Set in the picturesque village of Montagu on the scenic Route 62 in the Western Cape, the Four Oaks Guest House bed and breakfast accommodation is housed in a National Monument dating back to 1855. The owners have turned this historical building into a wonderful gourmet retreat with the addition of a newly refurbished Templeton’s @ Four Oaks restaurant and a charming wine cellar.

The Four Oaks has recently undergone a full room refurbishment with attention to simplistic luxury. All rooms are en-suite and have private entrances onto a leafy courtyard.

Guests have access to a private secluded garden and pool deck where breakfasts, light lunches and dinners can be taken, or they can just sit and relax and admire the surrounding mountains.

Directions

From Cape Town take to N1 towards Worcester. From Worcester take the R60 towards Robertson. Follow the R60 through Robertson and Ashton. After Ashton the R60 becomes the R62 towards Montagu Montagu is the first town on the R62 and about 7km from Ashton. As you enter Montagu , you will drive along Long Street. The Four Oaks are on the right hand side – no 46. Long Street. Signboards will indicate the guesthouse and restaurant.
