Sheltered under oak trees and within walking distance from the town centre and well known restaurants, this charming Victorian home is situated in the centre of historic Oudtshoorn and captures all the character and heritage of a bygone era. Oakdene was built in 1853 and declared a National Monument in 1988.

Oakdene has been artistically renovated and decorated with earthy colours and cottage furniture by owner Liza Retief.

Breakfast are served in the plaas kombuis or outside on the patio facing the garden.The tables are decorated with hand painted tablecloths and cutlery.
