Manor on the Bay Guest House, in the heart of charming Gordons Bay, was built in 1862 and used as a summer residence by the famous Beit family from Ireland. The owners, Schalk and Hanel van Reenen invite you to come and experience South African hospitality and enjoy their beautiful manor with its Oregon floors, high ceilings, magnificent unsurpassed mountain and sea-views and its prime situation overlooking the white sandy beaches of Gordons Bay.

Pure health and skin care clinic offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a massage, facial, pedicure, manicure or any of the wide variety of treatments on offer in the comfort of the spacious salon at Manor on the Bay.

Breakfast is served at the swimming pool or in the dining room. There are also quality restaurants within walking distance and in the surrounding area. Manor on the Bay offers traditional braais and a rich array of South African and Mediterranean cuisine on request.

Directions

From Cape Town International Airport. Take the N2 turn off to your left, just outside the airport, direction Somerset West. Take the turn off to your right which indicates Gordons Bay, R44, Kleinmond. This is the last turn off before you start the climb up Sir Lowry’s Pass.
Carry on with that road until you get to a T-junction. Turn right and immediately left into Sir Lowry road. Carry on until you get to another T junction where you turn left into Beach Road. Carry on for 500m past the Van Riebeeck Hotel, up a small hill, past a little church on your left. Manor on the Bay is about 150m from the church, on your left. Look for the 2 big palm trees in our garden.
