Set in the picturesque wine-producing valley of Franschhoek, the Franschhoek Country House & Villas offers luxury and indulgence.
This restored manor house and former perfumery dating back to 1890, is situated on the outskirts of the village in the Cape wine lands and is surrounded by enchanting vineyards and majestic mountains. An hours drive from Cape Town make it the perfect getaway for anyone visiting the Western Cape.
Franschhoek Country House is proud to offer the very exclusive Villa Suites, Villas Restaurant and Wine Cellar. The ambience is one of a French provincial village, complete with water features, fountains, cobblestones and olive trees. All suites enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, fountain courtyard and swimming pools.
A second heated swimming pool has been built to accommodate the additional guests and extensive landscaping on the properties has resulted in wonderful expansive lawns with cascading water alongside the swimming pools.
The new main building houses the guest lounges, breakfast rooms and a restaurant in the cellar! The lounge offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a drink before dinner or an afternoon cocktail on the verandah whilst enjoying the beautiful mountain vistas.
