Dieu Donné is situated in Franschhoek in the Western Cape Winelands and is operated as a small and intimate family run 4 star guest house with bed and breakfast accommodation, where personal attention to our clients and their needs are of utmost importance. We pride ourselves on warm welcomes and personal service, we do it all with country hospitality rivaled nowhere.

Dieu Donné means “God Given”, once you’ve experienced the spirituality and natural beauty around us, you will understand why.

We have two free standing one bedroom en-suites, one free standing building which houses “The Squirrel Suite” as well as another four rooms all en-suite. Each of our bedrooms has its own individual, unique character with different colour schemes – all natural and rustic with huge showers, pure cotton bed linen, private entrances, covered private patios and views forever…With numerous water features and two dams, a swimming pool and hot tub (jacuzzi) on the farm, the calming and tranquilising effect of water will soon work its magic.

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking vineyards and the beautiful valley of Franschhoek.

For the health conscious we prepare fresh fruit salad or a fruit platter with muesli and yogurt, various cereals and fruit juices. For those with a slightly bigger appetitie we will prepare a home cooked English Style breakfast with specially cured and smoked bacon, a tantalising feast of mushrooms and tomatoes with a very special herb and spice mix, and of course - amongst others - the best scramble eggs you will come across in South Africa. Wash down your toast with hot perculated coffee or a pot of fresh tea and you are set for the day. All produce we source, purchase and prepare at Dieu Donné are handpicked by one of our family members to ensure the total satisfaction of our guests

From Cape Town
Get on the (N1) National Road and take exit 47 to Klapmuts & Stellenbosch. Follow the signs to Franschhoek on the R45. Brown “B&B” signs for Dieu Donné are on the R45 just before Franschhoek town itself. Turn right onto “La Provence Rd” –Follow the road (La Provence Rd) over a small bridge and turn right at the T junction. Dieu Donné is 400 meters ahead, at the end of the cul-de-sac.
