Carmel is a magnificent child friendly seascape property situated above Victoria Bay, a sheltered beaxh and noted durfing spot between George and the Wilderness on the Garden Route, Western Cape, commanding a breathtaking view of the Southern Cape coastline and the beautiful Outeniqua Mountain range.

A jungle gym and extensive lawns afford little ones space to play; there are rabbits, guinea pigs and aviaries of colourful birds. During school holidays, teams of young people entertain the children and keep them happily busy.

The accommodation at Carmel includes dinner, bed and breakfast - all bedrooms are fully carpeted, with comfortable beds. Seaview rooms have en-suite bathrooms and wooden decks open to a magnificent view of the bay. Children under 12 years of age stay free!

Guests join around tables of eight in our dining room for tasty country-style meals, while enjoying our famous view of the Southern Cape Coast.

Directions

From the N2 between George and Wilderness, turn onto the Victoria Bay Road, 8 km east of George. There is no Carmel sign on the N2. One kilometre down the road, turn right into Carmel.
