Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is a sprawling game farm in the fertile Cango Valley at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains – South Africa’s 6th World Heritage Site.

Our accommodation comprises of 25 tented units. Each has its own wooden deck where guests can relax, admire the view and spot the game. Guests have a choice of Superior or Luxury accommodation.

Enjoy the spectacular views on offer at Buffelsdrift from the elevated vantage point of the Lookout Lounge, with a lovely big fireplace for those cold winter nights.

The Buffelsdrift Restaurant offers an a la carte or buffet menu that specializes in local Karoo cuisine.

To keep you from disturbing our Hippos and other wildlife, no swimming is allowed in the dam. Instead, residents may relax and cool off around the swimming pool situated between the accommodation units for your convenience.
