This restored National Monument, and one of the original guest houses on the Atlantic Seaboard, offers back to basics accommodation to the discerning traveller.
In 1895 the gracious home of Ann Bell, Somerset House (renamed Bellevue Manor), was built. During the early 1900s she was famous for her warm hospitality. Today Sylvia and Gary De Castro have continued this tradition in their beautifully restored Manor.
Bellevue Manor, situated under the protective eye of Lions Head, is a meticulously restored, gracious Victorian home. It offers exclusive accommodation in tranquil surroundings, gazing upon the race and roar of the Atlantic as it rushes relentlessly to the ribbon of white sandy beaches.
A short distance away from the main manor house are a number of self catering apartments for short or medium term use. Various options are available. Great views, well-located, tastefully decorated and comfortable, just like home would be.

Directions
Follow the N2 to Cape Town. Proceed up hospital bend, Groote Schuur hospital on the right and continue towards V and A Waterfront. Continue past the entrance to the V and A Waterfront and at the 2nd traffic lights turn right. Follow sign boards to Sea Point. At traffic circle continue through the circle. Green Point Stadium on the right. Continue along Beach Road (M6). Turn left into Oliver Road. Continue until you reach Main Road (M61). Turn left into Main Road. 1st road on the right is Bellevue Road.
