We’d like to welcome you to our luxury accommodation near Cape Town, our child friendly bed and breakfast guesthouse (a 4 star TGCSA grade) Hottentots View in Somerset West, with a glass of ‘lekker’ South African wine and a tidbit, or a cup of coffee or tea if you prefer.
Use this guesthouse as a base to explore the Western Cape and the Cape Winelands. Hottentots View is only 5 minutes from the sandy beaches of False Bay, 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, 25 minutes from Cape Town international airport and 45 minutes from Table Mountain.
Relax in one of the 5 deluxe garden cottages, situated around the swimming pool. They all consist of spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, terrace with stunning views over the Hottentots-Holland mountains and the Helderberg, and a separate entrance for each room.
Hospitality, room quality and the sumptuous breakfasts we serve are still and always will be our priority! Delicious dinners or a braai (barbecue) can be served on request in the evening.
You will certainly find peace and tranquility in the lush greenery of the gardens, by the sparkling swimming pool, or in the shade of the patios.

From N2 Cape Town international airport
Take the N2 towards Somerset West, then exit 43 for Somerset West / Stellenbosch R44; turn left at the traffic lights; turn right at the second set of lights, this puts you on Main Road; after 4 set of lights, turn left into Lourensford Road; drive straight on at the first roundabout; turn left at the second roundabout for Mountain Road; turn left at the T junction on Reservoir Road; turn right at the stopping street, into Oldenland Road; Hottentots View Guest House is to your left, 200 m up the road.
