From Cape Town take the Malmesbury road (N7 route) to Vanrhynsdorp. At Vanrhynsdorp you can either stay on the N7 via Springbok ( Namaqwaland Route ) to Kakamas or you can take the R27 via Calvinia, Keimoes to Kakamas ( Hantam Route ).From Johannesburg stay on the N14 to Upington. ( be aware not to miss the turnoff from Kathu to Olifantshoek/Upington ) From Upington stay on the N14 towards Keimoes. At Keimoes turn right at the traffic light towards Kakamas/Augrabies and about 3 km before Kakamas on the right side of the N14 road is Vergelegen. There are road signs and 6 international flags at the entrance.
From Cape Town through the HantamFrom Vanrhynsdorp take the R27 via Calvinia towards Brandvlei/Kenhardt. At Keimoes turn left at the traffic light towards Kakamas/Augrabies and about 3 km before Kakamas on the right side of the road is Vergelegen.
From Cape Town through Namaqwaland
From Vanrhynsdorp take the N7 to Springbok. From Springbok take the N14 via Pofadder to Kakamas on the N14 towards Keimoes/Upington, over the Orange river. Vergelegen is 3km after Kakamas on the left side of the road.
