The two sandstone and thatched cottages, De Hoop and Gert Boom, are fully equipped, with furnishings maintaining historical charm. Gas lamps and lanterns provide lighting and add to the ambience of the house. A gas geyser ensures that guests can still enjoy a luxurious warm bath.

The kitchen is fully equipped for those who would like to self cater, and for those who want to be spoilt, a three course dinner is delivered.

After a hot day, experience nature by cooling down in one of the natural rock pools of Papkuilsfontein or opt for the swimming pool next to your cottage.

Fully equipped. Hot-water-bottles and cosy fireplaces for the winter. Outside shower (delightful in summer).  For those who want to be spoilt, a three course dinner is delivered at night to enjoy by candle light. (Breakfast is at the main house).

Papkuilsfontein is just south of Nieuwoudtville, neighbouring the West Coast. It is situated 350 km north of Cape Town, on the border of the Western and Northern Cape Provinces.
