Fly De Aar
The site has 4 runways, for N/S, NE/SW; E/W; SE/NW wind directions, between 1.5 - 2km long. Pilots are launched with a "payout" winch, which is fixed on the back of a vehicle, so moving between runways for different wind directions is quick & easy. There are roads in most directions for easy recovery. The surrounding area is abundant 'semi-desert' landscape with plenty landing options. A mountain launch is also available. Access to sites is only through Fly De Aar.
