Tata ma Tata was founded by Ed Smith in 2006. He was born and raised on a farm near Upington which makes him a true child of the Kalahari and therefore knows the region well. The tour company is based in Upington and operates from there. The aim of the company is to take tourists on routes that will take their breath away, like the Kalahari Raptor Route, the Roaring Kalahari, Eco-Adventure Route, the Diamond Highway Route and the Komani San people lifestyle.
