Bushbuck Hills Game Farm is nestled in a series of hills surrounding the North-West town of Swartruggens, a mere 2 hour drive from Gauteng.
The farm offers a variety of walking trails and has an abundant amount of bird species. Utility quad bikes are also allowed on the farm whilst mountain bike and 4x4 enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves on different tracks.
Bushbuck Hills Game Farm offers a variety of accommodation. The farm offers two well appointed farmhouses, sleeping 10 and 13 people respectively, a Wild Olive Cottage sleeping 5 people and a bush camp. The main farmhouse lies at the main entrance to the farm with a thatched lapa, swimming pool and close-by drinking hole, whilst the Huis Karee is nestled between the mountain koppies in the middle of the farm with a huge, traditional, private “stoep” area with braai facilities overlooking the extraordinary bushveld mountains.
A mountain log cabin forms part of the farm’s accommodation and is ideal for the nature lover or adventurer since it is situated in the majestic cliffs. The main Bush Camp facility consists of 4 on-suite three-bedroomed chalets, 4 two-bedroomed chalets and 1 six-bedroomed chalet. It boasts an entertainment area with a lapa and a pool, overlooking the farm surroundings.

From Pretoria / Johannesburg - Take the N4 toll road through Rustenburg to Swartruggens. Turn right at the Wimpy in Swartruggens, and turn right again at first stop street. Pass school on left hand side and school sports ground on right hand side. Tar road turns into gravel road. 16 km further pass farm “Papknop” on right hand side. Next Farm on right hand side is Bushbuck Hills (KF 14).
