Shiluvari Lakeside Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore this ‘Land of Legend.’

Shiluvari is situated along the banks of the Albasini Dam, and close to the bustling little town of Elim, 23 kms east of Louis Trichardt.

We offer an array of accommodation to suit all requirements. All rooms have high quality furniture and fittings. We are a child friendly establishment with the family suite being ideal for a family or two couples travelling together.

The main Lodge, once the old farmhouse, houses the award winning Wood-Owl country restaurant, the Hog & Hound bar and fireplace, “Textures” art outlet,  a wrap-around terrace for al-fresco dining, and reception area.

Facilities

On site facilities include the Lakeside swimming pool, as well as a motorized raft for sunset cruises along the Luvuvhu River.

Take the N1 from Johannesburg /Pretoria towards Polokwane/Pietersburg - follow the Polokwane/Pietersburg signs all the way (stay on the N1) once you are approaching Polokwane/Pietersburg, start following the signs to Louis Trichardt (still staying on the n1). Approx. 100 km later just before reaching the town of Louis Trichardt, look out for the R578 Giyani turn off. This will be on your right. Turn right onto the R578 and carry on for 18.8 km until you reach a 4-way stop – Elim hospital. Turn left at the 4-way stop. Shiluvari Lakeside Lodge is on the left hand side, 5.8 km from the 4-way stop.
