Blue Cottages Country House is an enchanting overnight stop en-route to the Kruger National Park and the Panoramic Route and Blyde River Canyon on the R527. We offer both bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation with numerous options available to choose from.

Quail Rondavel Cottages are as sweet as apple pie! This charming cluster of two, sleeps four in two bedrooms. The Garden Cottage suite is a stylishly decorated little cottage that has it all. The Blue Crane suites are situated in a splendid four-acre tropical garden near to the main homestead. The Weavers’ Nest family suite is the original farm manager’s cottage built in 1948 on the pioneering Olifants River Estate.

All prices include 14% VAT. Children under 10 Years pay ½ price.

Enjoy a delicious home-cooked 3-course-dinner served on the candle-lit veranda for an additional price. Our restaurant creates a very unusual menu which encompasses African & Creole cuisine, so you will find some remarkable dishes like a stunning Cajun prawn dish from New Orleans and a chicken Creole recipe from the Caribbean. Not to mention the Fresh Bream Seychellois prepared with a garlic and ginger marinade and accompanied with green mango and papaya salad, laced with chilli and coconut milk. We also serve a Moroccan Lamb shank served with preserved lemon.
