Experience a touch of Africa just 15 minutes inland from Ballito on the North Coast and 30 minutes from the new King Shaka International Airport at Rain Farm Game And Lodge, a rehabilitated 300 hectare sanctuary for a multitude of wildlife.
This child friendly 3 Star and AA Superior accredited establishment is the perfect paradise for all nature lovers. The birdlife is prolific and from the privacy of a romantic tree top tent overlooking the tranquil Umhlali River you can enjoy sightings of a variety of Plains Game roaming in the grasslands beyond.
Other accommodation includes a 10 sleeper farm house, thatched rondavels, a timber cabin as well as other family units accommodating 48 guests in total. All accommodation can be taken as self-catering or dinner bed and breakfast excluding the luxury tree top tents which are not equipped for self-catering and include dinner and breakfast prepared by our in house gourmet chefs.
This is the perfect destination for weddings and other special occasions too with our very own stone chapel and horse and carriage for that special day!

From Durban - Take EXIT 210 travelling towards the North Coast on the N2, turn left at off ramp, drive past Umhlali Golf Course. At T-Junction turn left drive 0.8km then turn right into Compensation. Drive +/- 10km past Collisheen and micro light airfield on your right till you eventually reach a T-Junction where you will see our sign. Turn right drive 3.4km to our farm on the right F9 Rain Farm. There is a sign and you will see the game fencing around our farm.
