The 3 Star Pennygum Country Cottages, offering a warm welcome and beautifully appointed accommodation, are set in peaceful, unspoilt surroundings in beautiful grounds with some of the most magnificent views in the Southern Drakensberg. The cottages are self-catering but breakfasts and excellent home cooked dinners can be pre-ordered.

Our African Dreams ‘Honeymoon’ thatched rondavel is tastefully decorated in this theme and sleeps 2 adults and a further 2 adults or 2 children can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the lounge.  Lavender Cottage is a beautiful, bright cottage with a country feel. It has a double bedroom with a lovely corner bath ensuite and a further twin bedded room with a shower room en-suite.  The Family Cottage is double storey with its own entrance and large garden area – ideal for a large family or groups. There are 3 double bedrooms and a dormitory room in the loft with a further 4 single beds. The cottage sleeps 10 people.  Our Apple Cottage is perhaps the ‘star’. It sleeps 6-8 people in 3 bedrooms.

All are well equipped, and serviced daily.

Fully equipped kitchens. Braai facilities. Wi Fi and DVD. Electric blankets in winter. Raft and tube hire in season. Drakensburg tours arranged. Pet friendly. We speak English, Welsh and French.

Directions

From N3 turn for Underberg - R617 and carry on through Underberg. After 5 km turn right onto Drakensberg Gardens Road and we are 2 km further on the left.
