The 3 Star Beverley Country Cottages is set in the beautiful Dargle Valley of the Natal Midlands, on the farm Beverley, where the early Irish settlers set up home in the late 1800s. It is part of the Midlands Meander, a haven for world class artists and craftsmen and where one can experience a gentler pace of life, while enjoying our friendly hospitality and comfortable accommodations.

All four cottages are superbly set up for self catering, although delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners are available on request.

All bedrooms are en-suite and the central lounges have log fire places, bringing a sense of cosiness to those chilly wintry days.The cottages are ideal for a variety of stays from a romantic, peaceful getaway, to a fun filled family holiday as they can sleep 2, 4 and 6 respectively. Each has its own verandah and special views. 
In the original stone homestead built in 1913, there are an additional 2 large rooms with Oregon floors, which are offered on a bed and breakfast basis only. Enjoy the splendour of these elegant rooms, while relaxing in the grand Victorian baths or the comfortable sleigh or four-poster beds. They each have their own separate entrance, off a shared verandah.

Directions

Driving from Johannesburg, travel on the N3, go through the Mooi toll and continue for about 15 minutes on the highway. Look out for Exit 114, Howick/Tweedie turn-off and turn right. Turn right again at the T-Junction. Just passed the Lions River stock yards and before Piggly Wiggly, turn left at the Impendle/Dargle sign post. Stay on this road, over the Mngeni River and onto a gravel road. Travel a further 2.8 km up this road until you see a white wall with Beverley on your left. Turn in here and take your first right. Drive to the buildings
