Watervale Lodge

Watervale Lodge provides accommodation and delicious home-cooked meals. Near Inchanga - halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, close to Cato Ridge, Camperdown, Valley Of A Thousand Hills, Hillcrest, and Pinetown.

The comfortable en-suite rooms inside the Main Lodge and the outside en-suite rooms, as well as the log cabins with separate ablutions, carry the flavour of Africa, and are located in a quiet and beautiful African setting.

Backpackers and campers are welcome and can camp in the grassy areas close to the log cabins and ablutions or anywhere else on the 25 ha surrounding the Lodge, all of which are surrounded by an electric fence.

Delicious breakfasts and home-made meals are served in the dining room and pub or, if you prefer and the weather is good, outside on the verandah, or in the outside pub area in the fresh country air.

Directions

From Pietermaritzburg on N3, take off-ramp at Exit 43, approx 42 km from Pmb, and turn left at the top of ramp. Take first turn-off to left, opposite Inchanga Station and follow the road to the Lodge.

From Durban on N3, take off-ramp at Exit 43,  approx 43km from Durban, and turn right at the top of ramp. Cross over N3 and take first turn-off to left, opposite Inchanga Station and follow the road to the Lodge.
