Ambercrest Bed & Breakfast is situated on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal in the beautiful town of Scottburgh. This tastefully decorated guest house accommodation was once called the Grand Old Lady and she has now been restored to her formal glory.

Comfort is the key word and each bedroom has been decorated in a modern-classic style with earthy colours.

This house also features a library with lots of books and good music. Sit back, read a book and listen to beautiful music. Or relax in the stunningly decorated relaxation/dining room. Or sit outside on the deck and see the dolphins or whales at play. Or relax next to the pool.

The garden was re-designed to allow for space for kids to play and to attract birds. We have plenty of parking for that ski-boat or 4x4.

We are also pet-lovers with kid-friendly dogs and cats and birds. We are a short walk from the sea or a short drive to the main beach.

Directions

From the N2 South, take the Scottburgh off-ramp. Turn left towards the sea. At the T-junction, turn right. Continue across the bridge and past the first Scottburgh turn-off to your left. Continue up the hill and turn left at the next turn-off. You will see the hospital sign. Continue to the first stop street and turn right. This is Galway Street. We are in the next block on your left.
