Just 30 minutes from Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria and 20 minutes from Krugersdorp and Roodepoort, Kenjara Lodge is a homely Country Retreat nestled in the heart of the “Cradle of Humankind”.  The surrounding area was declared a WORLD HERITAGE SITE in 1999, an area of 48 000 hectares.

Kenjara Lodge is small, comfortable and tastefully decorated in an African Theme -  the perfect place for a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We have comfortable accommodation, good food and excellent service.

We have spacious twin, double and family rooms; all rooms are en-suite with a shower (one room has a bath). There are TVs in the rooms and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their own entrances with a patio to sit out on and relax, overlooking the sparkling pool.

Kenjara’s popular a-la-carte restaurant offers a variety of dishes which are prepared by our Qualified Chef and Lodge Owner, Jack Hewitt. Kenjara also has a Private Wine Cellar with a wide selection of South African Wines, where you can either select your wines and relax in the Wine Cellar and choose a meal from our A La` Carte Menu or alternatively relax in our gardens.  Once a month we present a wine tasting with a three course meal, excellent value.

From Beyers Naude Drive (Old DF Malan) - Turn on to M5 Beyers Naude (Away from Northcliff/Cresta, towards Honeydew/Muldersdrift) carry on straight for approx 14 km, look out for left turn onto R114 Muldersdrift. (or take alternative route). Once you have turned left, 2.4 km later, at a 4-way stop, turn right to Driefontein, and go under the R28 highway and 300 m later, at T-junction turn right again to Driefontein. 7 Km further you will come to a traffic circle—turn left. In 3 km on the left hand side you will see Kenjara; we have a beige walls with lion heads on the entrance walls and thatch entrance.
