The child friendly Cottages at High View Gardens in Johannesburg are a hidden treasure located close to the OR Tambo airport and to central Johannesburg.

We have 21 en-suite rooms, some of which are old stone, thatched cottages. All are situated amongst gardens of aged trees, lush foliage, fragrant flowers and rambling pathways. Just a short walk up the hill on our property, you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful view from the highest point of Johannesburg. Sit and relax in a quiet, secure atmosphere and watch the bountiful bird-life.

Each of our rooms has its own theme ranging from African to a simple English country cottage. We have a warm and welcoming team who are committed to making your stay comfortable and memorable.

Each morning, guests are greeted with a heart-warming full English breakfast. Lunches and dinners can be served by prior arrangement.

From OR Tambo International Airport - Take the R24 to Johannesburg. At 1st set of traffic lights at the end of the R24 turn right into Marcia Road. After +/-4km – at a set of traffic light, you’ll find an island in the middle and the road bends to the left. Ahead is a T-junction, to the left The Curve to the right Observatory Avenue, turn right. At Innes Street traffic lights turn left. At the T-junction turn left into Gill Street. Drive to the end of the road/Cul De Sac. We are number 30.
