Stoneridge Guesthouse, an AA Highly Recommended accommodation venue, is centrally located and is the ideal stopover for weary travellers: It is situated 40 km north of Colesberg and 185 km south of Bloemfontein in Central South Africa, and is neatly nestled on the hills of Gariep Dam and overlooks the intriguing, yet forlorn valleys of the Bo-Karoo.

Here one will find comfortable and very well-appointed accommodation. Stoneridge Guesthouse offers four luxurious double rooms, each with its own en-suite facility. There is also a little splash pool in the gorgeous garden, and our renowned ‘Flirting with Theatre’ dining room personifies peacefulness.

Directions

From Bloemfontein to Colesberg on N1 South - Take the Gariep/Bethulie (R701) off-ramp, and turn left onto R701. Keep straight for Gariep Dam (do not turn off to Bethulie). After approximately 5 km turn left at Gariep Dam’s main entrance. Pass the Shell Garage and turn right into Tinktinkie Street. Keep straight over the four-way stop, and go up the hill. Tinktinkie Street becomes Loerie Street. Keep straight, and go straight over the three-way stop. Turn right into the first street - Valk Street - and immediately turn right into Uil Street, which becomes Kiewiet Street. Stoneridge is the third house on the left.
