Prior Grange Guest Farm is a 3 Star accommodation venue located on an historical working farm situated in Springfontein in the Southern Free State on the N1 between the Cape, Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Prior Grange has been in the family since 1854,.Guests are accommodated in five cottages situated in the garden. We offer self-catering facilities for those who prefer this option. The cottages are private and each has its own style and outside sitting area.

All cottages are en-suite and fully equipped. Meals are served in the privacy of your cottage.  Cool down in a sandstone pool. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in “The Loft” pub cum library - museum.

Experience the activities on a working Merino farm. There are 3 trails waiting to be explored; the farmyard discovery trail - 2 km,  the Boer War Blockhouse Trail - 8 km,  the Archaeological trail - 6 km.

We also offer a function venue for up to 70 people which is ideal for weddings, meetings, parties and get-togethers in typical farm style.

Prior Grange has its own cricket field, complete with evergreen outfield, grass pitch, sightscreens and scoreboard. Teas and meals are served at the field, making it ideal for corporate cricket matches.

Travelling South on the N1 and approx 140 km past Bloemfontein take the No 45 exit to Bethulie. Turn Right over the highway. After 2 kms turn left at the Prior Grange signage. 4 kms down that road you will find Prior Grange.
