Take the N2 from Cape Town towards East London, Grahamstown
Take off-ramp no. 751B (M4 Setlaarsweg, Beach Umbrella icon on roadsign)
Follow M4 Summerstrand
Freeway ends at traffic light but two lane road stays M4 (4km from this point you will turn into 5th Ave, Summerstrand at the Marine Protea Hotel)
Do not take any turn-offs off the M4 – stick to the sea/beach area
Pass McDonalds, Oceanarium, City Lodge, Road Lodge, Boardwalk Casino entrance and Beach Hotel- all on your right hand side.
1st Ave starts past Beach Hotel
Look out for big Marine Protea Hotel in 5th Ave on your right
Turn right into 5th Ave
