Granny Mouse House offers a full service for a maximum of 6 concurrent guests with the option of booking bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and Breakfast.

In addition we have two self catering units sleeping 2 persons each (queen beds)..Both units have gas-powered showers. Secure off-street parking is provided.

We enjoy the accolade of being the first catered establishment in Hogsback to have attained 4 star Superior accreditation from both AA and TGCSA. We cater for adult guests, in a sophisticated yet relaxed country atmosphere. No children under 12 years of age.

Large, landscaped grounds and views of all the surrounding mountains enhance the sense of restful, quiet respite in a Village situated high up in the Amatola mountains of the Eastern Cape.

Dinners and breakfasts are served around a single ageing, but not quite antique, dining table.

Pre-dinner drinks are served in our cosy, log fire-warmed thatched lounge, accompanied by a wide selection of music and stimulating conversation. Several life-long friendships have been made in this manner, as over the years we have provided our modest services.

Facilities

Guest bedrooms, each individually furnished, are all en-suite with individual private patios, pool and garden facing. Tea and coffee facilities are provided free of charge.
