Fairbairn Guest Farm (self catering of bed & breakfast) is situated on a peaceful farm just 14 km outside of Maclear on the Rhodes Road.
Maclear is a small town in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. 172 km north of East London and 80 km north-east of Elliot. The Guest Farm is surrounded by spectacular mountains, waterfalls, rivers, streams and indigenous forests - only nature’s best.
The house has a lovely “stoep” (patio) where you can enjoy the early morning by breathing in the fresh mountain air, lazing back on the bench and watching the sunrise while listening to the birds greet the day.
The mountains and breath taking scenery is topped with snow in the winter and covered with nature’s green in the summer. Streams filled with trout flow through the country side and there is a number of hiking trails for the explorer at heart.
Whether you enjoy complete relaxation or appreciating nature through outdoor activities, Fairbairn Guest Farm offers the ideal opportunity to do both.
The Main House has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room and there is a choice of cottages with various facilities options.
