Avocet Guest House offers good quality, affordable self catering and bed and breakfast guesthouse accommodation to the tourist, sportsman and business person. We are situated in the upmarket suburb of Summerstrand, only 150 metres from the beach.

Each unit has a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, secure parking, portable braai and is serviced daily. All units are fitted with free internet connection and DSTV with ten channels.

Kitchenettes are fitted with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk provided. (No stove)  Fridges are stocked with snacks & soft drinks, with price list.

Guests are welcome to self cater; however we also serve a scrumptious Continental or full English breakfast in the comfort and privacy of your unit

Directions

From Cape Town
As you approach Port Elizabeth, stay on the N2. It will seem as if you are passing to the left of Port Elizabeth. Look out for the M4 off ramp. Take the second M4 off ramp (Settlers Way, City, Summerstrand) Stay on the M4, which will bring you into Marine Drive. Follow Marine Drive, turning right into Admiralty Way. Avocet is situated on the first corner on the right, diagonally across the Total filling station. Reception in Brighton Drive.
